Because Only Together We Can

Locate and return all missing people back to families

Around 10, 000 000 people go missing each year worldwide

Who We Are

WE ARE GLOBAL CHARITY FOUNDATION

The goal of the Missing Persons Wall website is to create a place where families can post all available information about their missing loved ones online. This would allow the public to join the search for the missing person and provide the family of the missing person with the confidence that the photo and description of their loved one is in the public eye. In addition to this, in the event of natural disasters, many of those injured or involved in the coordination of rescue operations will visit the website, which will increase the likelihood that the missing person will be found. We partner with police of various countries, Interpol, governmental and non-governmental organizations such as the Red Cross,  Disaster Centers,  private investigators, agencies and similar charities, to share information on missing persons and create global database of all missing persons and the most effective global  search system.

Missing persons information

Every year, millions of people around the world disappear without a trace. A person can go missing as a result of an accident, crime, illness, death in a place where they cannot be found (for example, at sea), or for many other reasons, including voluntary disappearance. A child can go missing for several reasons, such as child trafficking for sexual exploitation, commercial exploitation and murder for organs. The situation, uncertainties, and lack of closure or a funeral resulting when a person goes missing may be extremely painful with long-lasting effects on family and friends.

There is not a single governmental, non-governmental or any other international organization, including the UN, the Red Cross, which has accurate data on how many people are missing each year. Some websites and mainly the police give us only a rough estimate: in the US about 800,000 people go missing every year; in the UK, 275,000; Russia - 120,000; Canada - 80,000; Australia - 38,000. As estimated 250,000 kids go missing each year in Europe, according to the European Union. Many are runaways that are later found, though there are also cases involving small children who are abducted and never found.

This, however, is only a snapshot of the problem. In many countries, statistics on missing people are not even available; and, unfortunately, even available statistic figures may be totally inaccurate due to different reasons such as: under-reporting/under-recognition; inflation; incorrect database entry of case information; and deletion of records once a case is closed. Many countries do not have even statistics for  their own missing people. According to our observations 10, 000 000 people got missing each year worldwide. More than 60% of them never come back home.
